Project Overview: Integrated Topographic and Social Study for Dahiyat Al-Waleed and the Public Institutions District (Homs).
Project Scope: The project targets a vital urban corridor in Homs, encompassing the entire Dahiyat Al-Waleed district and the Public Institutions zone. The study covers an extensive total area of 387 hectares.
Objectives and Scope of Work: The project aimed to establish a comprehensive database for urban development through:
- Topographic Survey: Conducting a detailed field survey at a 1:1000 scale to determine physical features and elevations with high engineering precision.
- Social Survey: Collecting and analyzing demographic and socio-economic data for residents and facilities within the study area. These works serve as the fundamental pillar for updating urban master plans and improving public services to align with the current and future needs of the region.
