Study of the Qamhana Junction on the Hama – Aleppo Road

Project Description

Scope Of Services

Project Summary: Study and Development of the Qamhana North Interchange

General Location: The project aims to develop the road interchange located at the northern entrance to the town of Qamhana in Hama Governorate, which forms a vital link between the town and the Jabal Zein al-Abidin area.

Technical Description of the Project: The current interchange is classified as an incomplete interchange (half-interchange). The engineering proposal includes redesigning the route by relocating the overpass that crosses the international highway via a diversion to the north, away from the existing route.

Traffic Solutions: The new design incorporates the overpass with a system of precisely distributed roundabouts. This system aims to regulate and ensure safe and smooth left-turn and U-turn movements, thereby improving traffic efficiency at the intersection and reducing traffic congestion points.
